Crystal Mountain Resort

I joined the Crystal Mountain Marketing Team on the first day of the 20/21 Ski Season. Overjoyed to be on my favorite ski hill and eager to help in an already controversial season, I lead my team of three and coordinated resort communication needs, meeting regularly with department leaders (Food & Beverage, Ski Patrol, Ski School, Summer Adventures, Retail Store, and Rentals) to ensure messaging was accurate, up-to-date and reflected all local COVID requirements.



Strategy Development


I ensured that our team was meeting established Alterra (parent company) and resort-level goals, and developed strategic goals and budget for the marketing department moving forward.


KPI's Measured: ticket & pass sales, overall budget, organic social engagement, paid social reach, guest surveys & sentiments, website traffic, and email CTR & bounce rate.


Operational Management


I reconciled the monthly budget, maintained the team schedule (Mon-Sun 6am - 8pm), and represented the resort with local organizations including Visit Seattle, Visit Rainier, and the Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce.

Video storytelling was a central piece of building our brand voice at Crystal. Our Steep Motion partners spent a significant amount of time on-site with our team developing scripting, shot lists, and hunting down the perfect conditions.
